You Can’t Always Get What You Want

but if you try sometimes…

you might find….

you get what you need.

Elizabeth booked a shoot with me months ago so while I’m now shooting film, she booked a Collection with me before that change so I shot her with mostly digital and only brought a couple rolls of film with me. Which, I exhausted right before we arrived for the last look of the day, the beach. I’m kicking myself as we speak because I know the film shots would blow these away. However, these shots are straight out of the camera (except for desaturating a couple for B&W) and I did ZERO retouching. Yes, the light was that beautiful and YES so was she. No skin fixes, no bringing in of waistlines, nothing. Just raw gorgeousness. I didn’t have film, which is what I wanted. But I definitely got what I needed.

More of her shoot coming soon!

Elizabeth - Danielle is absolutely amazing – I think her work speaks for itself, but in case it doesn’t – I couldn’t have been more impressed with how she handled the whole process. From preparation to shooting, from scouting out different settings to expertly directing you so you knew exactly what you were doing… She made it so easy and so enjoyable, and, well, the finished product is nothing short of phenomenal. THANK YOU DANIELLE!!!!October 28, 2010 – 2:58 am

Bryn Clark - Omgosh, you are so gifted. The light in these are spectacular. I love how warm you caught the sun on her skin, amazing amazing amazing. I don’t know how you kept the sand out of your cameras with angles like these!October 28, 2010 – 6:51 pm
